2942

This is an educational project done at SAE Creative media Institue in Perth, for a Cultural Perspectives Unit.

2942 is a conceptual/prototype remake of the classic arcade game "1942" developed by Capcom, in 1984. The game aims to reimagine 1942 with content which is more culturally sensitive to the nation in which it was developed, Japan. While the original features players shooting down Japanese aircraft as an American Pilot, the remake will swap the WWII setting for a sci-fi alien planet, and the Japanese aircraft for alien spaceships. 

Additionally the platform, graphics and mechanics will be updated to better suit modern standards.
